Learning is Such Fun!

Yesterday we used the Smart Board for the first time.  The kids love getting their time at the board.

Today we explored linking cubes.....

.....then sorted Alpha-bits cereal.

First Day of School 2012-13

After everyone arrived this morning read "First Day Jitters" and we had a little cup of Jitter Juice to help us get over our first day jitters!  I've been teaching many years and I still get them!

Once we calmed our jitters, we went on a walk around school and met some of our important helpers. The kids carried the clipboards and marked the helpers as we met them.

During center time today I let the kids play wherever they wanted.  Normally the number of kids in each center is limited.
