First Six Weeks Brag Tags

Some brag tags can be earned every six weeks (knowing all sight words and perfect attendance). Some will be earned only once when the student has mastered the skill (knowing all letters, knowing sounds, knowing when birthday is, counting to 100).  Brag tags for good behavior are earned weekly.  If a student has a sticker on their folder behavior chart every day of the week they get a Good Behavior brag tag.  The students get a foot charm for their brag tag necklace every time they accumulate 5 miles on Wellness Wednesday in gym.

Community Helpers - Smokey Bros.

To end our 2-week Community Helpers unit, we went to Smokey Bros. for a tour and meal.   Ms. Brooke, who owns the restaurant with her husband, Jason, took us on the tour, then the kids were fed hot dogs, chips and lemonade.  They also got to sign their names on one of the patio picnic tables.
