Celebrating Dr. Seuss's Birthday

In celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday we did lots of different activities.  After reading One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, the kids graphed colored Goldfish.  I also read the book "Bartholomew and the Oobleck" which is a really good story that reminds us that sometimes we need to say, "I'm sorry.  I made a mistake."  I'd made some oobleck for the kids to experiment with, then sent each of them home with their own container of oobleck.
