What a fun day! It was a pretty windy day, but we didn't let it spoil the fun! Starting at 9:00, the younger grades went to the front of the school and rotated through stations. Coach Davis had the stations organized and manned and the high school senior helpers were amazing!! (So were Mrs. Gray and Mrs. Baker at the horseshoe toss!) At 10:15 we got our time at the waterslides. We took a lunch break, then played a little more on the slides. We took another break to give the olders kids some more time on the slides, then we headed back out for another hour of play. We really appreciate the PTO moms that were there to help us with the waterslides! They put in many hours and we appreciate it so much!
I also have to thank my Dillon, who was home from college, for being a BIG help to me!
Rotation 1 - Obstacle Course
Rotation 2 - 3 legged Race
These 2 have been joined at the hip all year, so it's fitting that they're joined at the feet! |
Taking it easy! |
I thought these 2 were NEVER going to make it back. |
But they did! |
Rotation 3 - Horseshoe Toss (Sorry, not many pictures because my disk got full. Mrs. Baker was running around trying to find another one for me and I was frantically deleting old pictures so I could take more.)
Rotation 4 - water break
Rotation 5 - Water balloon volleyball
Rotation 6 - Tug of war
Dalton is trying so hard! |
And now, it's US....... |
against THEM! |
Game over! |
Tyler and Dalton were such good sports! Afterwards, they were telling my kids how strong they were so, of course, every one of my guys had to show them their muscles! |
Rotation 7 - Sack Race
Rotation 8 - Softball Throw
Kind of looks like a bowler to me! |
Rotation 9 - Popsicles!
I LOVE these kids! |
I always have to promise a goofy pose if they'll do a good one for me first! |
And finally.....WATERSLIDES! I didn't get many pictures because I didn't want to tote my camera around and take the chance of it getting wet.
