Christmas in Mexico

One of the spanish classes from high school visited us, along with their teacher Mrs. Carver.  They had us act out making tortillas, then they let us sample tortillas they had made for us.  Next, they sang some Christmas songs, but they sang them in spanish.  They taught the kids some of the words in the chorus and had them sing along, then they gave each of the kids shakers that they had made, so the kids got to sing and shake along--but they had to do it on cue!  For the finale, they taught the kids the Mexican Hat Dance.  It was so much fun to watch the kids and they really had a great time!  Thanks, Mrs. Carver, for sharing your kids with us!
