We started the day off with Christmas program. 4th graders, Tess Decker, Channing Stroebel, Carson Hardin and Kade McAdams read their UIL selections for us and 2nd and 1st grades sang for us.

After the program we returned to our room and played Fascination. It is a game my brother, sisters and I use to play when we were younger and we loved it! When I found it in a book of retro toys I had to buy it so my family could play once again. It is a game of skill where you try to be the first one to get your 3 marbles through the maze. Some of the kids didn't want to try it and some, after playing it once, didn't want to play again. But the majority could have played it all day long!
After lunch it was FINALLY party time! We started out by singing "Must Be Santa", then opened gifts. After having a party snack of cookies, brownies, cotton candy and drinks, the kids got to play with their new toys awhile. They behaved so well! Then we bagged up all of our Christmas decorations we had made and got to go home and begin our Christmas vacation!
Thanks to all of the parents who brought our Christmas treats and came to the party! I hope everyone has a
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
