Pumpkins

We've been studying pumpkins this week and doing lots of pumpkin activities.  The fingerpainted pumpkins came out so cute.  They mixed their own amount of red and yellow, so they are different shades of orange and all different shapes.  On Friday, we tasted pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies and pumpkin ice cream, then graphed their favorite.  Most of them liked ice cream; fewest liked pie.  So, at Thanksgiving this year I guess you can think about serving pumpkin ice cream instead of pie!
